Just an update. The Steampunk Challenge piece fell through - I lost motivation whilst starting on the models, and never recovered after that. So, anyway, I decided to do something simpler so that at least I could start getting things done. What I've been doing so far (its only been a few days since starting) can be seen here http://www.foundation3d.com/forums/showthread.php?t=4972 If all goes well it'll be done (modeling, lighting, texturing, and post-painting) in time to submit for Exotique. And maybe, just maybe I'll be able to get it published. We shall see.

It's official - I've entered the Steampunk Challenge. Time for all hell to break loose in Lightwave's Modeler. Because the only way i could possibly win is by out modeling all the others, and thats going to be a herculean task. Anyway, I've got the topic - a steampunk variation of Journey to the West, and I've well... almost got the character designs. H3artily has been kindly pointing out they dont really fit in the style yet, and not all the features I've planned for them show through in the art. Sigh... after almost 2 long years in service of the Singapore Armed Forces I am finally free of their clutches (well, free as far as everyday life for a while is concerned). ORD Loh. And that should be great, because it means I have much more time to concentrate on my art. So I'll be able to work at my Arctic Wolf more, or my animation project more, or give the Steampunk CG challenge at CGTalk a proper shot, and who knows maybe win something. Or finish the website my dad has been waiting for for a while now. ... NOT. Ok, its not that bad - i have up till start january to finish all the outstanding artwork. Which means most likely I'll drop
