Phew... I haven't submitted in a looong looong time. And this here image is the reason. Following my completion of my ARC-2R Archer, I was asked to do another model for BT-M and the Centurion was the one I chose. My modeling has taken leaps forward during this time as have my views and opinions about 3D art. However, my speed of modeling has not improved much, and because of the lack of time due to my A Level studies I took a grand total of 1 year and 3 months to complete this model, working on it on and off.
Now... about this new model. This model marks a departure of my detailing style from mainly paneling to full fledged parts - there are alot less riveted panels now and alot more variety when it comes to the detailing. It also is the first model with which I bothered doing an proper shape test model. I had wanted originally to do some hyper detailing, but never really got down to it. And it would have stressed out Gooseman's render farm anyway
Because i'm not texturing for BT-M, its not likely you'll see a textured version soon, but I can't resist texturing it for my own use and am working on a scene to put it into atm. So look forward to seeing that If you want to see closer pics of the WIP phase, you can check out [link] all the WIP are in the forums.
And my thanks to the BT-M staff and guys at Mektek for your support over the course of this project. Its been a pleasure

I must say that I love your attention to detail on this piece. In particular I like the way you did the left hand. I can never get robotic hands to look right but you have gotten this one to work perfectly with the rest of the machine.
Just by looking at it I can tell exactly how it would move.
A little late I guess.
But just wanted to sy good work, Absolute-Chaos.
Given the way the detailing is I have a feeling this guy
realy does not want to get shot in the back.
We want to know what love means to you!
Get your creative juices flowing and design a movie poster for "Paper Heart" that focuses on the theme "What Does Love Mean to Me?".
The butter legion- a socialist movement/mass colab project I started, to trigger artistic change and evolution in Da artists (mainly my watchers), to make them more active and dedicated on DA. Now 170 people strong and growing... A "dangerous cult"? a "new religion"? "artistic version of fight club" or "communist movement"? You decide!
When it comes to community spirit, `Rushy is a shining example. From participating in devmeets, to providing positive encouragement to other artists, `Rushy can always be found demonstrating what it really takes to be a true deviant.
